Sorry everyone. I keep playing the disappearing act. With three kids and Kiley now in school life seems so much busier. lol. So just a brief summery of 2013 since I last posted. We went to Cali for our Towner Reunion and go to see the newest addition to the family, lil' miss Paige (Christian's brother Adam and his wife Holly's little girl), she is so stinkin cute. We had fun and got to see some old friends too. I don't have time to post all these pictures so sorry about that. The next big thing that happened was Kiley started school in August. Yes, Kindergarten! Wow, she is getting so big! She loves it. Next we had halloween...Kiley was Cinderella again, Rowen was Ariel and Kale was Superman. (I did post pictures of this for you). We had our friends, the Farnsworth's over for Thanksgiving and it was wonderful. It is so fun to spend Thanksgiving with friends and or family. All the food turned out so good. Yum!! My parents came out for Christmas this year. And my dad helped us fix our fence that had lots of issues. I didn't take any pictures because my memory card was full so I let my mom do all of the picture taking. Once I get some of those pix I will post them for you. But for now you will just have to enjoy Halloween pix since that's all I got. =)Although, I do have one pic from the Nutcracker. I took Kiley to go see it last week, just me and her and she loved it.
While all of this was going on I was having lots of tests for the constant abdominal pain I was having. Good news is they figured out what it was, Celiac Disease. Yep, I scored 104 on my blood test, out of 0-19 being negative and 19-30 being positive and anything over 30 being a high positive. Yeah, high positive for sure. I asked if the test was wrong, but they said "no". They said they have seen high ones but this was definitely one of the higher ones they had seen. So this new year brings me the gluten free challenge. =) So far, so good. Bring it on! I will miss you white wonder bread, entenmann's chocolate covered donuts, ritz crackers, Mom's apple pie, and Peggy Jackson's chocolate chip cookies. The list could go on but I won't make you hear it all. LOL. I think this will actually be a healthier diet for me since I did love my wheat products a lot. =) The real challenge will be going out to eat. LOL. So if anyone knows of restaurants with gluten free menus or has an tried and true gluten free recipes, I am all ears. =) Hopefully you all had a wonderful Holiday season and a Happy New Year! Luv ya!
